Bayfest Talent Rehearsal and Show:
March 4th, 2026 - 4 p.m.- 7 p.m Rehearsal
March 6th, 2026 - 6 p.m. 9:30 p.m Show
Last spring was our first, we had about 15 talented performances. Little did we know in our first year that so many people in our park would come forward and share their amazing talents and gifts. Some were so comical, that I as MC, could hardly keep from laughing in the background; some were so well performed that I wished I had time to take lessons from them, some just were so enjoyable to listen to.
What will we have this year?? I bet, there is going to be even more surprising, unexpected talents coming forward..I have heard about a few volunteers already "grouping and practicing!" Will you or (your group) join us? We have scheduled a separate entertaining evening. We do not want to take away from your fun on Bayfest day, March 8, 2026 with all the activities that day..But set aside Friday, evening for the Talent show.
Please contact me by January, 2026 of your interest and the number in your group that might be performing. There will be a time limit on your piece, and your piece has to be approved by myself and one other member. We cannot allow any inappropriate "R/X" rated acts, as many times residents have grandkids visiting and some residents are uncomfortable with distasteful acts. Anyhow, there are so many ways to find laughter, and beauty in simple gifted talents! To be helpful, I will have a Informational form ready for each talent to fill out. In case we need to know about: sound, set-up, grouping, your piece etc, contact and # by January 10, 2026. With practice and a team to help we will be better this year! Thanks to Ron and Mike and Ann last year I had great help in our first year!
