Residents * of Paradise Bay Estates and Sarasota Bay RV Park are eligible for membership. All paid-up club members are eligible for Club contests. Membership dues are $10/yr. and run Jan 1 - Dec 31 each year. |

Measurement: Prizes are based on the length of fish in inches, measured at the cleaning station and witnessed by two club members other than the catcher. Use “overall length” for all species except pompano and Spanish Mackerel, which are measured to the “fork of the tail”. Measured to the nearest ⅛ of an inch.
Registration of fish: Fish must be registered on the day caught. The sign up board is at 2nd Street and Bayview. Entries should have the date, length of fish, anglers name and two club members as witnesses.
Contests: 1. Monthly Contest and year long Contest (Nov. thru March)
- Three prizes for each species: 1st place $15, 2nd place
$10, 3rd place $5
- Members can win one prize per category
- Entries close at 5:00 P.M. on the last day of the month
- ** May only enter one fish per species each day
2. One Day Contests (****also eligible for yearly contest)
- Date set by club
- Three prizes for each species: 1st place $15, 2nd place $10, 3rd place $5
- Members can win one prize per category
- Entries close at 5:00 P.M. on contest date
- Registration is at Gazebo at 2nd and Bayview
- In the event of a tie, a full amount will be awarded for each of the place winners. (except on yearly contests)
- ** May only enter one fish per species each day
Note: subsequent to the contest, monthly prize winners will have *** 2 consecutive meetings in which to collect prize money in person at the monthly meeting or it will be returned to the club treasury.
- Resident: Defined by Park as owner or renter registered at the Park Office.

The PB/SB Boating and Fishing clubs next boating trip will be April 3rd at 11:30am. Rain date is the 4th. We will meeting at the boat launch by 5th st. The trip will head up the Manatee River and have lunch at Woody's River Roo.

Should be a fun last trip of the season.

The trip to sarasota has been rescheduled to March 6th (Monday) do to large interest. 13 boats, we have decided to bring a lunch and ancher at a sand bar. We will make accommondations for bathroom stops. Trip will take about 3.5 hours of Fun. Exact departure time coming soon.

The date of our boat excursion to Sarasota has been changed to March 6
at 11:00 with a rain date of March 7.
The restaurants in Sarasota could not handle docking our group.
Because of this, everyone should pack a lunch and we will go to the sand bar near Sarasota and anchor. hang out, and eat.

With Great sadness our Club wants to notify the members that we have suffered a huge loss.
Our Presedent Larry Blank passed away from a work related accident. As of this time, I am not aware of the details of any services or memorials.
Our condolences to Larry's Wife Beverly and their family.
