Chris Matteson wished Everyone a Happy New Year; he also reported all thirteen committees for our club have a chair person to lead them. He thanked everyone for their volunteering.

Chris thanked Beverly Blank for the donation of a freezer to store our fish for the fish fry. He asked if anyone knew of a place to store it. Chris explained how club boating trips and fishing trips were going to be raffled off. Tickets are $10.00 and sold at many events, the winner will be drawn at next meeting.

Ken Hulinga spoke about the need for volunteers at the Frank and Bean dinner and passed around a sign-up sheet.

Scotty Yates gave the dock master report, he said there are only 20 or so people on the wait list since the board approved the $100.00 sign up fee. Scotty informed everyone he will be setting down with each new slip renter to review the rules of the boat slips. Scotty then reviewed the boat launch ramps along the bay front. He said ramp at 106th street is out of order and dangerous and don’t use it. The gravel ramp area is to shallow for boat launching but might be ok for kayakers. The ramp at 5th st has been replaced this year and might be a learning curve on the first launch, but good to go after your first launch.

Scotty thanks Don Vogel and all the other volunteers that got the new ramp completed.

He also asked to be respectful of other boaters waiting to launch their boat and not to tie up the ramp for extended periods of time.

Scotty then thanked everyone for their help with locking the boat yard gate and keeping the chain locked at the boat ramp.
