Committee reports/update

Kitchen Supplies-Sue Cassidy-She would like at least a one week notice from anyone who needs supplies for their event.  Also, it would be helpful for the person in charge to keep a list of the items that are used as a record for future years.  Jim G. said he would meet with Sue C. in order to develop a group email informing everyone of this information.

Newsletter-Joyce Nicholson-It’s becoming difficult to do the Newsletter because she isn’t getting the information in a form that can just be put directly in the Newsletter.  She would like the information in the form of an article that could just be put directly into the Newsletter.  Also, it should be submitted by the dead line and just for the next month not 2 or 3 months in advance.

Boating & Fishing Club-Kevin Sullivan-He informed us that there are approximately 100 people in the Kayaking Group.  They need a safe place to launch their kayaks.  Therefore, they are in the process of planning to have a launch and dock made.  They, also, need an easier way to transport the kayaks to the water.  They would like to buy a kayak trailer that would cost approximately $4,500.  They are going to request funds from the Park, the Boating & Fishing Club would contribute funds and they will be requesting funds from the Activities Committee.  Carl K. told him that the Executive Board would discuss that at their next meeting.

Luminaries-Anita Cook-She would like people to use the same type of containers on their street so it looks uniform.  Also, she told us about several different items that could be purchased at Dollar Tree or Amazon.
