Paradise Bay Activities Committee
Minutes of December 26, 2022
The meeting was called to order by Carl K. at 10:00 a.m.
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Prayer was said by Donna M.
Present were: Carl Kerr and Jim Gath the Co-Presidents, Shana Simison: Vice President, Wendy Graf: Treasurer, Donna Matteson: board assistant and 11 members.
Co-President’s Report: Jim announced Party at the water front will be on Jan. 13th at 4:00 p.m. till dusk. Bring snacks and enjoy the fellowship.
Secretary’s Report: A motion was made by Jim G. and seconded by Carl K. to approve the minutes from Dec. 12, 2022 with no corrections or additions.
Treasurer’s Report: Balance on hand is $7,826.05 as of this meeting.
Vice President Report: The Christmas Open House party was a success and a fun time for all who attended.
Old Business: Interest in golf simulator was again discussed at length. Sara Bay representatives Sara and Kathy again shared their schedules and agendas.
New Business: Nothing discussed.
Committee reports/updates:
Cortez Fish Festival was brought up by Ricky B. information is online to volunteer. He also asked about sound equipment for parties, this will be taken to board for discussion.
Jean C. talked about the successful Craft Show and turned in $350.00 dollars to the Activity Board…THANK-YOU to all who took part in making it a great show!
Lynn and Roger Jones talked about the Pancake Breakfast and are willing to take it on, with a little help. Chris and Donna M. agreed to work with them. First breakfast is scheduled for Friday January 20th. 8:00 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. Feb and March will be third Friday at same times.
Kathy O. asked about the lights for the Pickleball court. Jim and Wendy to look for notes about what was discussed.
A motion to adjourn was made by Wendy and seconded by Jim.
