Old Business
Unclaimed prizes from Bayfest-One Cash Award prize of $107.00 and one Gift Basket have not been claimed, yet. There were two new ticket numbers publicized last week but no one has said they have those tickets. Therefore, two new tickets have been drawn. The one for the Cash Award is a pink ticket no. 390325. The one for the Gift Basket is a green and white ticket no. 101960. Those numbers will be publicized this week. If no one claims either or both of those prizes, anyone who attends the next Coffee Hour on Monday, April 4th will receive a ticket to be eligible to win one of them. The drawing will be held at the end of Coffee Hour.
New Business
Nominating Committee-There were no new nominations for either Co-President(s) or Secretary. Carl K. and Jim G. agreed to continue as Co-Presidents for another term. Karen R. agreed to continue as Secretary for another term. Everyone indicated their agreement with a unanimous voice vote. Therefore, it was not necessary to have an election.
Jim G. mentioned that during Bayfest several people selling tickets or helping with other activities outside were in the sun because we didn’t have enough tents for them. Therefore, he would like to purchase canopies to prevent that from happening in the future. He found some that would cost less than $100.00 each. Brenda O. made a motion to purchase four canopies for up to $100 each. Shana S. seconded the motion. It passed unanimously.
Shana S. stated that the new Electronic Bulletin Board has been ordered and will be here soon. She said she would like to give the old Board to SaraBay because their Board is much smaller. Shana made a motion to give the old Board to SaraBay once the new Electronic Bulletin Board is up and functioning properly. Jean C. seconded the motion. It passed unanimously.
