Jim G. thanked Carl K. for his help in obtaining a new refrigerator in time for the Luncheon on Saturday, February 5th.

Old Business
Bayfest-We need to presell tickets for the lunch to have an idea of how much food and supplies to purchase. Carl K. estimated it would cost $1,280.00 for the lunch items and a total of approximately $1,500 including other items. Therefore, if we charged $7.00 for the lunch and sold 300 tickets, that would total $2,100 which should cover all the expenses. The lunch will be a choice of Pulled Pork Sandwich, Hamburger or Hot Dog with chips and a root beer float or other drink. There will be Gumbo sold separately. Everyone was in agreement for charging $7.00 for the lunch.
Marilyn M. will make signs to be posted around advertising all the events during the day of Bayfest.
Barbara G. and several others will be soliciting donations from local businesses for the prizes. She would like to know which businesses have been contacted so no one contacts them again. Carl said Costco has agreed to make some type of a donation but isn’t sure what that will be.
It was decided to charge $1.00 for 4 tickets for the games. Wendy purchased candy to be passed out during the Parade. Also, there are beads that will be tossed during the Parade. Wendy asked for volunteers to stay after the meeting to bag the candy and sort the beads. Several people agreed to do that.
Jim G. told us he has awards to give to the winners of the best decorated vehicles in the Parade and the winners of the Golf Cart Rodeo.
Deb R. told us that Randy D. approved having yard signs put up advertising Bayfest.
