Lunch was served.

Secretary’s report:  Karen R. stated that the minutes of the last meeting were previously sent by email and passed out at the meeting.  There were no additions or corrections.  They are approved as read.  Copies of the current Membership roster were passed out at the meeting.

Treasurer’s report:  Joyce F. said the Hot Dog Sale went very well.  There was $47 in the donation box.  We made a profit of $1,730.  We sold 163 tickets for the Fashion Show.  We made a profit of $728.63.  We still have 61 Patriot and 40 Cancer bracelets to sell for next season.  The balance in our account is $4,159.46.  There were no questions or additions to the report so it was accepted as read.  Susan M. mentioned that we like to keep about $1,000 in the account to begin the next season which means we have about $3,000 to allocate, today.

New Business:

Distribution of Funds:  Susan M. and several members gave information about many of the organizations in our area that we could possibly donate.  After much discussion, it was determined we should donate $400 each to SOLVE, Our Daily Bread, St. Jude’s Hospital in FL, Downtown Ministries, Stillpoint Mission, and Turning Points; and donate $600 to Foundation for Dreams.  By a show of hands, everyone agreed unanimously.

Susan M. told us that the centerpieces made by Lynn, Pat and Sandra that were used for the Fashion Show are going to be sold as a fundraiser.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:54 p.m.

Next meeting is scheduled for December 13, 2023 at 1 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Karen Rimatzki, Secretary
